Kelly has been our agent of choice in the Durham region market for over 10 years. During this period we have rented our Whitby property several times through Kelly. Every one of the tenants have been excellent. In each of the transactions Kelly has been thorough and detail oriented. She always provided us with genuine feedback to enable us to get top dollar. She would personally inspect each time and tell us exactly what to do. She insisted only latest new pictures to be used so that the lessee would also know exactly what was available. While we know that a rental transaction only gives so much in commission, Kelly was not the one to not to be by our side even when the property market was red hot. She made time to make sure that we were looked after. She wets every application with a fine tooth comb. She is very fair and always ends up with a win-win for both the landlord and tenant. This year my husband and I decided to take the plunge and purchase a second home, that our sons could rent, and have a safe place to work from. We had dreams of a small backyard or nice patio, that was in walking distance to amenities. We are not exactly high rollers, and a bit worried about moving forward in such uncertain times. I actually choice Kelly as our Realtor because she answered my questions (late at night) so quickly, and she really stuck with us. It was quite difficult to find a place, in such a “Hot Market” when we lived 400 miles away - we really needed help! Then the Pandemic really heated up to complicate things even more. But Kelly was so helpful at every twist in the road. She really took the time to understand ours and our son’s key requirements, and helped us to a find place that included ALL the important things on our checklist.
In a time with huge bidding wars, and properties going for record prices, Kelly seemed to understand the pluses and negatives in each neighbourhood we saw, and helped to guide us in the right direction. She was very knowledgeable. We cannot believe the wonderful outcome! The move went well and Kelly helped to provide before and after services that we way above and beyond the call of duty. You CAN’T find an agent better than Kelly! She FOUGHT hard for me, always kept me in the loop, and prepared me for what was to come, before I could even ask. Once the offer was accepted, Kelly sent me all the local utility company’s contact information, as I was relocating from Toronto, once again without me asking. Kelly was there every step of the way, no matter what time or day of the week, including moving day, and a follow up a few days later just to check on me. You do not get this type of personal service anywhere else!!! I don’t want to write a book here, but I could. I was extremely lucky to have met Kelly.
